With so many businesses being forced to put operations on hold, we feel fortunate to be able to continue building (there are always less than 10 people on our construction sites at any given time). Even so, we have had to rethink the way we do things and examine all of our processes to ensure compliance with Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.
As a small business, we especially feel for all small businesses that are being negatively impacted by the virus that causes COVID-19. We are extremely grateful for and inspired by all of the local support, along with our community’s push to buy from small businesses that are close to home. Without the patronage of many with whom we have close relationships, we would be in an even worse situation—so, with that we want to give a big thank you to all of you!
Ultimately, here’s what we are taking away from this challenging situation: we will keep fighting and supporting each other until we get through this. We strongly believe that the world, as a whole, will rebound to levels of higher success than before these unfortunate circumstances. We also greatly respect the fact that some businesses, having shut down or reduced their hours/capacity, are using this time as an opportunity to grow. Rather than ignoring the situation, they are pushing themselves to get better, whether it be through learning to refine their crafts, building their network virtually, or something else.
For some of you, a refresh of your environment may make sense with regards to improving your business. So, we wanted you to know that, even during this trying time, we’re still here to help with construction. We know that a remodel doesn’t make sense for every business right now. But, for those that are blessed enough to continue investing in their future, we are ready to assist and to make sure you hit the ground running when business picks back up. Logistically, doing construction at a time like this will have the lowest impact on operations, and may save you time and money.
We are looking forward to the better times when business will inevitably be booming again. Stay safe, happy, and healthy!
