2021 Year-End Review
Many of the challenges of 2020 carried into 2021. Emerald Inc. faced supply chain issues, volatile construction materials prices, and more. Despite these obstacles, we were able accomplish a lot this year, helping many amazing businesses to build spaces that their employees and visitors will love. Please join us in a look back at some of the top projects of 2021.

We were so proud to have been part of bringing RareTea’s first location to Arizona! RareTea worked with an interior designer to come up with look and feel of their space and then left Emerald Inc. to complete the build-out.
Skin Script was a design-build project of 3,700 square feet of new office space and 18,930 warehouse space. After doing the architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing plan design we completed the following: demolition, saw cutting for underground plumbing trenches, new millwork, insulation, roof penetration repairs, new doors and windows, metal stud framing and drywall, new acoustical ceilings, new flooring, new paint, fire sprinklers, new plumbing, new HVAC, and new electrical.
The BrüCo project involved the creation of a U-shaped bar, a new walk-in cooler with beer taps, new kitchen prep. area including pizza ovens, adding a second restroom, addition of an indoor-outdoor bar with overhead door, and exterior patio railing.
For UTV Stereo, we completed a 17,122 SF tenant improvement project converting an old Walmart into a new car stereo retail showroom and warehouse.
Apple Valley Dental & Braces selected Emerald Inc. as the general contractor that would help expand their practice from Washington (7 locations) to Arizona. Apple Valley is one of the few clinics in the country where award-winning specialists work hand-in-hand with general dentists. The site that was selected for a 10,000 square foot dental and orthodontic clinic was off of Higley & Southern in Mesa. Emerald Inc. constructed the building from the ground up.
Conclusion
We couldn’t have successfully pulled off these projects in 2021 without our amazing team members, subcontractors, families, and colleagues. We are already looking forward 2022 and its opportunities to serve Arizona businesses and their commercial construction needs.
