Scottsdale Family Dental’s expansion is moving through the MEP rough-in phase on schedule. Drywall is hung throughout the new operatory rooms and corridor, and the ceiling above is a fully coordinated layer of sheet metal ductwork, insulated flex duct drops, copper medical gas lines, PVC plumbing, and electrical rough-in, all installed in sequence before the lids go on. Dental unit connections are stubbed out at each operatory wall, and moisture-resistant board is in place in the wet utility areas. Rough-in inspections are the next milestone, followed by drywall finishing, then finishes. This is a dental TI expansion in Scottsdale, Arizona, and it’s a good example of the coordination that goes into a clinical buildout that looks simple once it’s finished.
