Here’s a progress update from Mesa. The exterior is now complete on the building expansion we’re constructing for UTV Stereo at 7561 E Baseline Rd.
With the stucco and paint finished, the building has gone from bare shell to street-ready, and the look is coming together clean.
The finished envelope tells the story. A crisp white stucco field runs the length of the building, grounded by a split-face CMU wainscot and framed with
black reveal banding along the parapet and base. The new storefront entry is set at the front, and around the side you can see the oversized warehouse
opening that ties the retail and back-of-house functions together. It reads exactly the way a specialty retailer’s building should, polished and inviting from the street while carrying real warehouse capacity behind it.
That balance is the heart of this project. UTV Stereo is expanding an active audio retail and warehouse operation, so the building has to present well to
customers out front while handling storage, staging, and installation work in the back. Getting the exterior buttoned up is a meaningful milestone, both because it protects everything that follows and because it’s the first time the finished vision is visible from the road.
With the envelope complete, the focus now shifts inside as we move into the interior build-out. Emerald manages projects like this from permit through punch list, self-performing the demolition, framing, and installation scopes and coordinating the trades across the full expansion. We’ll share more as the interior spaces take shape.
Emerald Inc. handles commercial construction and tenant improvements across Mesa and the wider East Valley, from retail storefronts to warehouse and industrial space. If you’re planning an expansion or build-out, we’d welcome the conversation.
